MICRONET was created through the vision and hard work by Late Sh. Bal Krishan Garg, retired Chief Engineer from Hindustan Fertiliser Corporation, a Govt of India Undertaking, one of India’s PSUs.
MICRONET INDIA (2001) was started in Bhatinda in the year 2001 with the purpose of providing ICT training to rural underserved youth in this remote and extremely rural belt of Punjab. Bhatinda and its surrounding areas have for long been the farming backbone of Punjab and in recent years large sections of the population have migrated to Canada providing Canada a much needed, hard working farming work force.
Today the Company is a leader in education, certification, skilling and training across several states in India. Over the years the company has created their own innovative mechanisms to mobilize rural youth and bring them into the fold of new age learning which can help them break out of the reiterating poverty cycle and hope for a better life. Increased emphasis on the content and delivery models of training, methodology of training and placement assistance has ensured that MICRONET remains the go to partner in every village that we work in.
